Author of the original novel of the movie ”The Designer” praises actor Kang Dong Won... ”Very powerful and wonderful”

On the 5th, distributor NEW announced that the movie "The Designer," starring actor Kang Dong Won, was well received by director Soi Cheang, who also directed the Hong Kong movie "The Accident," on which the movie is based.
"Designer" is the Hong Kong film "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" which was screened at the midnight screening of the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
This film is a remake of "The Accident" directed by director Soi Cheang, who was invited to the 2016 Tokyo International Film Festival. It attracts audiences with its interesting setting and story that adds a modern perspective to the original work.
Director Soi Cheang responded, "Director Lee Yo-seop was not influenced by the original work and instead sought his own direction in directing. 'The Designer' is based on the original work but has a new story.

He was full of praise for Kang Dong Won, who played the role of Il with a captivating performance. Meanwhile, "Designer" is about a designer, Yeong-il, who orchestrates contract killings with perfect accidental deaths.
