BTS' J-HOPE expressed his feelings in a letter to ARMY (fandom name) on their birthday.
On the 9th, J-HOPE published a handwritten letter on the fandom platform Weverse to celebrate ARMY's birthday.
He said, "It would be sad if you didn't come on our ARMY's birthday," and added, "I think this is probably the last letter before I'm discharged."
He continued, "I prepared a lot of things while I was serving in the military, and I wanted to make you all feel my warmth during this time, so I hope you enjoyed it. I feel Hobi's sincerity.
During his military service, J-HOPE also participated in the 10th anniversary singles of BTS, including "Take Two," "Jack in the Box," and "HOPE."
He filled up his time during his military hiatus by releasing albums such as "ON THE STREET VOL.1." He said, "I think I have about three months left now, and I'm really curious about my decision.
It's hard to predict what's going to happen in a situation where we don't know what's going to happen in the next second, but I think what won't change is my affection for you all. I think I'll still cherish you all and love you all."
To all the ARMYs who made us more like ourselves, thank you for existing. I hope to see you soon in good health. I love you."
Meanwhile, J-HOPE enlisted in the army in April last year and is currently serving as an assistant instructor at the 36th Division Recruit Training Center, and will be discharged on October 17th.
