At 4:30 pm on the 26th, the bands "CNBLUE" and "UVERworld" will hold a joint concert "UVERworld & CNBLUE SUMMER
An interview to commemorate the holding of "LIVE IN JAPAN and KOREA 'UNLIMITED CHALLENGE'" was held at Cheongdam, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The interview took place at the FNC headquarters in Cheongdam-dong. The interview featured CNBLUE vocalist Jung Yong Hwa and UVERworld vocalist TAKU
YA∞ and TV Series-SHINTARO participated, and there was a lot of back and forth about the future goals of the two bands.
UVERworld's TAKUYA (CROSS GENE) ∞ said, "All of our members love music," and added, "So, apart from classical orchestra and reggae music,
I hope that we will be able to bring out the best in all genres. Although we haven't announced it yet, we are in the process of preparing it," he said, expressing his expectations.
He added, "When I look at my predecessors, some of them were still in rock bands in their 80s.
We confirmed our intentions, saying, "I want to pursue a long and fulfilling career in music."
CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa said, "We, CNBLUE, had a very good future, not only when we debuted.
"There were a lot of guys in the group, but I didn't really feel like I received much love from my seniors. I didn't really feel like they were guiding us," he confessed.
He continued, "So my goal is, even if I can't be a big help to the juniors who are in bands, to be someone who can guide them to some extent."
Jung Yong Hwa also said, "If a K-pop history book is published in the future, I hope CNBLUE will be included in it.
We also want to maintain our looks until we're in our 80s.
"I believe that music is something that grows with age, so I want to continue doing music," he said.
"CNBLUE" and "UVERworld" will be performing at 6 pm on the 27th at Korea University in Seoul.
