BTS' JIMIN's "MUSE" has become the first K-pop album to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify this year.
According to Spotify's records on the 3rd, JIMIN's second solo album "MUSE" surpassed 1 billion streams in 47 days since its release.
Following his first solo album "FACE" released in March last year, JIMIN's second album also surpassed 1 billion streams, becoming the first artist to reach No. 1 on Spotify.
Jimin has become the first K-pop solo artist to have two albums with over 10 billion streams. This achievement comes 1 year and 6 months after his solo debut.
Last year, JIMIN was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the K-pop solo artist who reached 1 billion streams on Spotify in the shortest time (393 days).
In just 264 days, he has recorded 2 billion streams across his personal profiles, breaking a notable record even as a solo artist.
The title song "Who" from the album "MUSE" has been streamed 9,059,651 times on Spotify in just three days.
The song charted at number 4 on the Global Daily Top Songs Chart, garnering over 454.92 million streams overall.
The song is currently ranked #1 on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs" charts in Japan and Korea, and was streamed over 1.96 million times in the U.S. as of September 3rd.
It ranked 3rd on the "America Daily Top Songs" and has been in the "Top 10" for over 42 days. Meanwhile, in the latest chart released by Billboard (dated September 7th), JIMIN's "
