Director Ryoo Seung-wan expressed his satisfaction with casting Jung Hae-In as the villain in the film "Veteran 2."
On the 9th, the press preview for the movie "Veteran 2" was held at the CGV I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
A photo session and press conference were held. In this film, Jung HaeIn plays Park Sun-woo, a man with the quick decision-making skills and advanced martial arts skills to be called the UFC police online.
Park Sun-woo has a secret name, Hatch, and is the one who will punish the perpetrators of the crime. Director Ryu said about Jung Hae-In taking on the villain role this time, "I think that Jung Hae-In's role in the previous film, Cho Tae-in, is a good match for him.
"The character was completely different from the previous work. It was important to know what was different. I needed an actor who was trustworthy. Someone who was firm in his beliefs and believed they were right.
I saw the confidence that Jung HaeIn has in the movie "Start-Up!". Even though he is young, he has a heavy aura, is calm and unbiased.
"He had a good attitude of trying to absorb things," he said. "I was surprised that he was able to blend in well on set, and when I asked him to speed up the lines, he would say them with a lot of information, but his pronunciation was very good.
He also said, "His eyes are the same, but sometimes they look empty and sometimes they look kind. He's really good at it."
"Veteran 2" is a story about a violent crime investigation team led by veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min), who is determined to catch the bad guys until the very end.
The film is an action crime drama that follows the youngest detective, Park Sun-woo (Jung HaeIn), as they pursue a serial killer who has shocked the world. It was released in Korea on the 13th.
