Minho (Choi Minho) of the group SHINee has emerged as a new romance powerhouse through the TV series "Houseful Love."
On the 15th, in the final episode of JTBC's Saturday and Sunday TV series "Houseful Love," Nam Tae Pyung (Minho) met his favorite Taekwondo master.
He returns to his job, receives support from his family, and continues his romantic date with Byun Mi-rae (Song Naeun), giving viewers excitement and laughter until the very end.
In this drama, Minho plays Nam Tae-bi, a man who hides his true identity as the son of the wealthy J Plus Mart and leads a busy life as a Taekwondo master and a security officer for the Mart.
He took on the role of Lee Seung-ho, and portrayed the character's epic tale of the wanderings of youth, worries about family, and even a sweet romance, and received positive reviews for his acting in each episode.
In particular, Minho, who led the TV series Hot Topic with his straightforward confession and gentle charm, said, "Thank you for loving 'Houseful Love' and 'Taepyeong'.
I am really thankful. I felt both anxious and excited as I greeted everyone through a TV series after such a long time, but I am really happy that I received so much love.
I want to say thank you for meeting Taepyeong and giving me so many different emotions."
He also shared his thoughts full of love. When asked what he found most interesting about playing the role of Nam Tae Pyeong, he said, "I get annoyed with my family so much, but I try to be kind to people outside of my family.
I think I put a lot of effort into expressing the two sides of the character. I wanted to show how Taepyeong develops and changes in his relationships with various people, and I think I was able to capture that well.
When asked if there was a message he wanted to leave viewers with through the TV series, he replied, "I want to thank the director for helping me make this happen."
Tae Pyeong was really bold in trying to heal his wounds. Everyone has past wounds and traumas they want to hide, but once they find the courage to realize it through this TV series, they can achieve good results.
"I wanted to send a message that there is a way to express my feelings," he said frankly. Meanwhile, Minho, who expanded his acting spectrum through "A Houseful of Love," is also starring in the play "Waiting for Godot."
He will once again be taking on a new genre with "What's Wrong With," and will be meeting audiences on stage at YES24 Stage 3 in Daehakno until December.
