DK (DO-GYEOM) and Seungkwan of the group SEVENTEEN sang the trailer theme song for a documentary series being produced by BBC Studios.
BBC Studios Natural History released the trailer for "Asia" on its official SNS and YouTube channels on the 10th (local time).
"Asia" is a seven-part nature documentary series that showcases Asia's vast natural landscapes and diverse wildlife.
DK and Seungkwan collaborate with Bleeding Fingers Music, co-founded by world-renowned music director Hans Zimmer.
The original track for the "Asia" trailer was completed by Woozi, a member of "SEVENTEEN" and producer, Category, and BMI Films & T, USA.
V Award-winning composers Jacob Shay and Lorencia Edita participated in the songwriting. D,K and Seungkwan's outstanding singing skills further enhanced the immersiveness of the trailer.
The lyrics, borrowed from "Arirang," sung by the two singers and the Korean lyrics, "Let's take a breath together," are matched with the orchestral accompaniment.
DK and Seungkwan said through BBC Studios, "We are honored to be able to take part in this great series," and added, "We hope to spread a message of solidarity and positivity through music."
"As an artist who rushed to help, collaborating with Sir David Attenborough and Bleeding Fingers Music was a very rewarding moment," he said.
"Asia" will be broadcast on the BBC Earth channel in over 106 countries and territories around the world.
