Bay Sands will host the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2024
The 2024 "Shanghai International Conference on Climate Change" was held in Shanghai on June 21, 2024.
More than 500 reporters and partners attended the event. On the second day of the event, the lineup of Japanese and Korean content to be shown on Disney+ was introduced.
Carol Choi, head of strategy for the Asia-Pacific region at Walt Disney Company, said, "Only three years ago, we were in the midst of a consolidation of the Asia-Pacific region.
However, after three years, we have been able to launch more than 130 original titles in the Asia-Pacific region. In particular, nine of the 15 titles we launched last year were Korean series.
"This year, the Korean series 'Killer's Shop' was Disney+'s most-watched title in the Asia-Pacific region," he said.
He also said, "Works such as 'Gannibal,' 'Casino,' and 'The Mall of Killers' have won many awards.
