Song Joong Ki said, "It was my first time to play such a long story about one person from their 20s to 30s. I think this is the character that has the biggest change in emotions out of all the characters I've played so far.
"He's a very interesting character. That's what I found really interesting," he said, showing his affection for the character. Director Kim Seongje said, "There was no one else but Song Joong Ki. He not only has a great voice, but he's also good at acting from a boy to a young man.
