Ji Chang Wook is known for his roles in Disney+ dramas such as "The Worst Evil" and "Gangnam B-Side."
When asked if he was scared of appearing in two films with such strong contrasts in a row, he said, "Action films require a lot of physical exertion, so I think it's important to be careful."
"It may sound strange, but I felt a certain pleasure and a sense of accomplishment," he said, "but just because it's an action film and the emotions are quite varied doesn't mean it was any more difficult or any less difficult."
He also expressed his sincere feelings about acting, saying, "But for me, everything was just hard and painful." When asked about his prolific acting, he replied, "There's no special reason," and "I just keep doing what I can."
I've been working nonstop since about two years ago so that I don't miss out on roles or projects that I want to do. Recently, outside of work, I've been enjoying trying new things that I haven't done much before.
"I think it's a process of broadening my horizons as an actor," he said. Ji Ji, who has been busy filming the Disney+ original series "Fabricated City" recently,
Jang Wook said about this production, "It is a series adaptation of my previous film 'Fabricated City,' and I'm working with actors Yang Dong-gyun, Lee Kyung-soo, and Do Kyung-soo (EXO's DO).
He continued, "The story is similar to the movie in terms of the main setting, but the characters will all develop differently."
He has expanded his acting spectrum by playing various genres and characters, and what he wants to try next is
"Surprisingly, there are many roles I haven't played yet, and I've never played a doctor before. It seems to change every time, but I've been doing racing and other action-packed roles from start to finish.
"I would also like to try a car chase film," he said, showing his enthusiasm as an actor. When asked about his sex appeal, he said, "Sexiness matures, and when you become a veteran, you become more sensual.
"It seems to change over time," he said, explaining, "It's probably created by the overlapping layers of charm that come from a person's attitude, way of thinking, and experiences in life."
However, he says he doesn't think of himself as sensual, saying, "I'm not very good at objectifying myself, so I thought,
"No, not at all," he replied candidly, "In fact, sometimes I think, 'I'm kind of cute.'"
