A script reading video for the new Fri-Sat TV series "Undercover High School" has been released via drama's YouTube channel.
"Undercover High School" is a story about a National Intelligence Service agent who disguises himself as a high school student and goes undercover to track down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold.
This is a comical action drama that depicts the exploits of a group of perverts. It stars Seo Kang Joon, Jin Ki Joo, Kim Shin Rock, and Jeong Bae Soo.
In this TV series, a NIS agent infiltrates as a high school student.
Seo Kang Joon, who plays Jung Hye Seong, said, “He is an ace field agent of the National Intelligence Service’s 4th team in Korea, but he has an unexpected life.
"The character is a man who spends his days in a turbulent state due to his involvement with the disciples," he said. This will be his first comeback in about three years since the TV series "Grid" which aired in Korea in 2022.
He said confidently, "'Undercover High School' is a work that will allow viewers to enjoy various aspects of the characters, from NIS agents to high school students. It will be a work that will be entertaining, moving, and even funny."
Jin Ki Joo, who plays the role of Oh Soo Ah, the passionate teacher and Seo Kang Joon's partner, said, "Soo Ah is a part-time teacher who is trying to become a regular teacher at Byeongmun High School.
He is Hye-sung's homeroom teacher who has gone undercover. He is a character who begins to overlap with his first love from his school days, who remains a scar on him, and Hye-sung, a high school student, leads a turbulent school life."
"Undercover High School" is scheduled to start airing in Korea in February.
