According to the latest chart (dated January 17th) released by Oricon Japan on the 18th, SEVENTEEN's 4th Japanese single "Expiry Date" was ranked 1st and 2nd in the "Daily Chart".
Also, BSS' second single "TELEPARTY" ranked second following "Expiry Date".
In the chart released earlier on the 16th, BSS's "TELEPARTY" came in first place and "Expiration Date" came in second.
The way their group and unit songs compete for the top spot on the charts shows just how popular they are in Japan.
Since its release on November 27th of last year, "Expiry Date" has recently re-appeared at the top of the charts, demonstrating its long-term success. The album was ranked 1st in the Oricon Weekly Rankings on December 9th of last year.
In addition, it was awarded the Gold Award by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for shipping over 500,000 copies in the first five days after its release.
The album was certified double platinum. BSS' second single "TELEPARTY" was also certified double platinum on the latest weekly album charts of Circle Chart and Hanteo Chart.
Following their dominance at number one, they continue to rank highly in Japan, demonstrating the power of "K-Pop's strongest unit."
