"Be My K-guide," a Japanese-Korean romance reality show brought to you by K-content production company MooAm, will premiere today (24th) at 12:00 on major OTT platforms in Japan and Korea.
This is a collaboration between Japan's largest telecommunications company NTT Docomo's OTT platform "Lemino" and Korea's leading platforms "Watcha" and "Wave."
The show depicts the special encounter between four attractive Japanese women and four Korean male guides. According to the production team, the cast members, who boast celebrity-level looks, will travel around Seoul for three nights and four days.
From hot spots to hidden gourmet spots, we will be revealing special date courses that only locals know.
It is expected that the charm of Korea will be highlighted through the eyes of a local guide. "Will this relationship go beyond a simple encounter between a guide and a traveler and develop into a true romance that transcends borders?" the production team said.
These questions will be the core viewing points of the show. Meanwhile, the simultaneous release on major platforms in both countries is a meaningful attempt to open a new chapter in content exchange between Japan and Korea.
Considering the high level of interest in Korean content among Japanese viewers, it is expected that this will become a new cultural bridge between the two countries.
