"Heo Restaurant" is a story about Heo Gyun, a problematic figure from the Joseon Dynasty who unexpectedly ends up running a restaurant in the present day 400 years later.
It is a slapstick fantasy comedy romance TV series based on the web novel of the same name (written by Jung Sung-yeon).
In the drama, XIUMIN is a self-proclaimed genius who has both literary talent and aesthetic sense.
Heo Gyun and Exsi will play the role of Bong Eun-sil, the daughter of an unbranded diner. Heo Gyun accidentally travels back in time to the present day and meets Eun-sil and runs the restaurant together.
Heo Gyun, wearing a traditional Korean dress, has an innocent look on his face as if he knows nothing about his new surroundings, but Eun-sil has her hands on her hips.
She is wary of him. The awkward relationship between the two piques curiosity. However, in other stills, it is striking to see that the two are growing closer.
Eun-sil is a harsh realist, but thanks to Heo Gyun's presence she grows a step, and Heo Gyun's story unfolds as he navigates the modern world and adapts to it in order to survive.
The story will be interesting and moving. How will the fate of Heo Gyun, a unique character with a sudden sudden turn of events, and Eun-sil, a righteous woman who cannot stand injustice, unfold?
