Sunwoo of the group ENHYPEN has been exerting an influence for good by donating to help financially struggling patients.
On the 11th, ENHYPEN's Sunwoo reported that he had been working at Samsung Seoul Hospital as a patient happiness fund employee in December last year.
He donated 100 million won in name only. The 100 million won that Sunwoo donated will be used to help with medical expenses for patients and to operate patient support programs.
This donation was started out of goodwill, to help patients who are struggling financially and cannot easily receive treatment during the New Year period.
So, he made the donation without even informing the management office so that the fact of his donation would not be known to the outside world. Sunwoo's quiet donation was posted on the Samsung Seoul Hospital website, where the donor's name is regularly published.
His name was listed in the register, and it was revealed later. ENHYPEN, the group Sunwoo belongs to, is known as a "top-tier K-pop group" with its unique music and performances.
Last year alone, the band recorded a total of more than 5.45 million album sales, and was named to the International Federation of the Music Industry's (IFPI) "2024 Global Album Sales Chart" and "2024 Global Album Sales Chart."
They ranked 2nd and 4th respectively on the "Global Album Chart," the highest rankings for any K-pop artist.
ENHYPEN is currently active around the world on their world tour "WALK THE LINE."
This July, they will be performing at Japanese stadiums, the shortest time for a foreign artist to do so since their debut.
In addition, on April 12th and 19th, they will be performing at Coachella, America's largest music festival, in the shortest time possible for a K-pop boy band.
They will be performing on stage at the Ella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
