Singer and actor 2PM member JUNHO (Lee JUNHO) will be leaving JYP Entertainment. On the 20th, JYP Entertainment said, "Our exclusive contract with JUNHO expires on April 15th.
After lengthy and in-depth discussions between our company and the artist, we have decided not to renew the contract."
He continued, "Since his debut in the group 2PM in 2008, Junho has been doing his best as both a singer and an actor.
Based on the deep trust we have in each other, we have renewed our contracts with our company many times and spent many shining seasons together as artists. We are sincerely grateful to JUNHO for accompanying us as the company grew over the past 17 years.
Regarding the end of his exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment, JUNHO said, "I'm truly grateful for the generous support over the past 17 years.
"I want to treasure the bond we have shared and the support he has given me," he said. JYP Entertainment also expressed their support for Junho's new challenge and brilliant journey.
" However, he added that he will continue to be in charge of activities in Japan and will actively support any projects that require collaboration in the future, and it appears that the two parties have taken a peaceful step towards parting ways.
