More than 300,000 tickets were sold in advance, and the exhibition recorded a cumulative visitor count of 500,000, making it the largest Van Gogh exhibition in Korea.
Actor Ji Chang Wook, who donated his talent to the Korean audio guide for this exhibition, visited the exhibition on the last day and expressed his deep affection for the Van Gogh exhibit while enjoying the exhibition.
Ji Chang Wook, an actor who has gained global popularity, put a lot of emotion into the recording in order to convey Van Gogh's passion and suffering to the audience, and many of the audience were moved by the earnestness of his voice.
The exhibition was well received. Kim Han-mo, chairman of HMG Group, which successfully organized the large-scale exhibition, said, "This was an opportunity to once again feel the power of art.
"I'm grateful that so many people have come to visit, and I'm happy that I've been able to convey emotion and comfort to so many people through Van Gogh's work. I ask for your continued interest in the upcoming exhibition in Daejeon."
Kim Han-mo, chairman of HMG Group, which organized the exhibition as part of its cultural content business for the style conglomerate, said he plans to continue such art projects in the future.
Meanwhile, actor Ji Chang Wook will continue to donate his talents as an audio guide for the "Immortal Painter Van Gogh" exhibition, which will be held at the Daejeon Museum of Art from March 25 to June 22.
