Chuncheon City requests Big Hit Music to remove photo of BTS' V for promotional purposes?

After Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province distributed press materials including photos of BTS member V, the management office Big Hit
Big Hit Music has requested that the photo be removed. Last month, Chuncheon Mayor Yuk Dong-han posted a photo of V on his SNS account.
Based on this, Chuncheon City distributed a press release and some of it was published as an article, so we asked for your cooperation in removing V's photo from the article.
The photo in question was taken while V was serving in the military and visiting a folk market in his military uniform. Mayor Yuk Dong-han was seen in the same place with the same poster.
He also attached another photo taken at the venue. Mayor Yuk Dong-han wrote in his post that there are many things to compare other than the location.
Music explained that the issue arose because the artist's likeness was used without the approval of the management office.
The press release stated that V's visit will be the catalyst for the promotion of the revitalization project for the market.
Chuncheon City will distribute documents again in response to the management office's complaint and ask them to delete the previously distributed photos of V.
The problem has been resolved.
