The KGMA Organizing Committee announced today (2nd) that the 2nd KGMA will be held on November 14th and 15th at the I-10 building in Incheon.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Inspire Arena in Seoul on June 23, 2019. The event is a new awards ceremony established by the Korean sports daily Ilkan Sports to bring about new possibilities in the Korean pop music industry.
The 1st KGMA, held at Inspire Arena on November 16th and 17th last year, was themed "The Birth of the Galaxy" and featured a total of 32 artist teams.
On the first day, Hani from "NewJeans" and actress Nam Jihyon, and on the second day, Winter and Nam Jihyon from "aespa" served as MCs, and they called up big hot topics.
The six teams that received the award were aespa, NewJeans, DAY6, i-dle (known as (G)I-DEL at the time of the award), ATEEZ, and ZERO BASE ONE.
The 2nd KGMA will be held this year and will feature K-POP and trot (Korean folk music) that have been loved by fans in Korea and abroad for a year.
