Actor Kong Myung shared his thoughts on the end of "One Week Before I Die." The final episode of the TVING original TV series "One Week Before I Die" was recently released.
In the drama, Kong Myung plays Kim Lam, the man's first love who appears as the Grim Reaper, conveying a youthful romance that is both warm and sad, like a spring day.
Kong Myung said through his management office People Entertainment, "It's a drama that has a special meaning to me, so I can't believe it's over.
I would like to thank all the people who loved 'One Week Before I Die.'"
He continued, "I want Hee Wan to have the strength to live a good life from now on.
"I tried to make Hee-wan feel like he was warmly embracing her and comforting her," he said. Meanwhile, Kong Myung said that his mother, Jeong-sook (played by Seo Young-hee), was feeling guilty about his death.
He revealed that he felt relieved to see Ram living with nostalgia instead of Jeong-sook, and that he also wanted to express the love between family members while playing Ram, who lights the light for Jeong-sook.
"I thought it was necessary to provide comfort for those who feel nostalgic, so I tried to immerse myself in that part and act with all my heart," he said, adding, "I hope everyone who watched it will love it.
"I want you to love the people you love with all your heart and miss the people you miss with all your heart," he added. Finally, he added, "You can enjoy watching 'One Week Before I Die' whenever you start watching it.
If you haven't seen it yet, please watch it on TV now," he said, showing his affection for the work.
