Lee Jae Wook said, "When I first read the script, I wondered what kind of environment this character had experienced.

Jo Bo A spoke about her love for the show. She also talked about the appeal of period dramas. Jo Bo A said, "When I first appeared in a period drama, 'Horse Doctor,' I felt that period dramas were difficult, but when I starred in 'Nine Tailed Fox,' I was able to do it.

"Even 12 years ago, I had a vague desire to do a job where I could endlessly explore and learn something. I think it was that curiosity that led me to the path of acting," he said.
