Jinjin of the group ASTRO has grown to a new level as a musical actor through the show musical "Dream High."
Jinjin appeared at the musical show "Dragon Ball Z" held at Woori Finance Art Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on May 31st.
Dream High has successfully completed its final performance. Dream High is based on the popular TV series of the same name that aired on KBS2TV in 2011, and tells the story of a group of girls who aim to become K-pop stars.
The story follows the protagonists, who dreamed of becoming a freelancer and return to Kirin Arts High School after graduating from high school.
Since its premiere in 2023, the show has been a hot topic overseas through licensing exports to Japan.
The revival was held in both Korea and Japan last year. Jinjin played the role of Jason in the original production of "Dream High," and in the revival, he will play a more serious role as the main character, Song Sam-dong.
In particular, he delicately portrayed the story of Song Sam-dong, who debuted as a singer under the name The K, and his inner conflicts.
He demonstrated his skills as an "all-rounder." He also performed in Japan as well as Korea, and was well received by audiences in both Korea and Japan.
Having completed the final performance, Jinjin said through management officefantagio, "I am working with great actors.
I feel like I received a lot of love because I met the cast members and we all worked hard to prepare, so I'm very grateful. This is the first time I've played the lead role in a musical, and the premiere is also my first time in a musical.
"For me, the production 'Dream High' is a production that helped me grow," he said, expressing his gratitude. "This is the last performance at Woori Finance Art Hall,
"There are extended performances remaining, so I would appreciate it if you could join us until the end," Jinjin said.
He will also participate in the extended performance and continue his passionate activities as a musical actor. Jinjin will hold his first exclusive concert "JIN LAB Vol.1.Find" in Korea and Japan in February and March.
Your Groove" was held to great success.
