This mystery thriller follows aspiring writer Dan Kyung as she becomes embroiled in a murder case after drawing a picture for a commission on the dark web.
In the drama, JINU plays the role of "Hannya-kun," an unidentified character who operates on the dark web.
JINU, who debuted as a member of the group WINNER, began appearing in the web TV series Magic Mobile Phone, a Korean-Chinese co-production, in 2016.
She has steadily gained experience through her appearances in "Millennium Love" and the TV series "Pure Hearted Boxer". Recently, she made her first stage appearance in the play "Let's go to Karaoke... Shall we talk?"
"Commission" is director Shin Jaemin's first film, and it's a work that lets you see JINU's transformation into an actor.
Through "Commission," JINU plans to break away from her typical pure and gentle image.
He said about his role as Hannya, "It was a role I really wanted to play. I wanted to break away from my innocent image, so I've been playing characters like this for a long time.
"I was waiting for this role," he said. "The director suggested it to me, so I participated with gratitude," he said. "When I received the script for the first time, I had many conversations with the director and I was able to get a sense of the characters.
"I thought deeply about it. I think it will be an unforgettable role in the end," he said, showing his affection for the role.
This is the first film produced and distributed by PAN ENTERTAINMENT, the same company behind "The Turnabout! ~" and "Thank You for Your Hard Work," and it was nominated for the "43rd Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival" in Sri Lanka.
The film has received love calls from some of the world's leading film festivals, including being selected for the film's competition section and being officially invited to the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
