MBC's educational variety show "Architecture with a Reason - A Journey through Space" will start in Korea on the 26th.
"Architecture with a Reason" (hereafter referred to as "Architecture with a Reason") depicts the talent Hong Suk Chun and Changmin of TVXQ, who departed to Hong Kong to study architecture.
Hong Kong is known as a city of fine dining and shopping, but this time we will travel from a new perspective as a city of architecture, and we will be excited to see what the city has to offer.
Hong Suk Chun and Changmin arrived in Hong Kong before architect Professor Yoo Hyun Jun, and their passion for learning fueled them as they tackled the mysterious task posed by Yoo Hyun Jun.
Changmin, who usually only visits concert halls, hotels, and airports when he travels abroad, said excitedly about studying architecture, "I've only ever been to Hong Kong for work, but this is the first time I've had an experience like this."
They will explore the backstreets of Hong Kong, showcasing their tastes. In order to solve Professor Yoo Hyun Jun's challenge to "make sure to do an open run at 10am," they will explore the symbolic alleys that reflect the topographical features of Hong Kong.
The first space, located between the Central District, where the financial district is concentrated, and the Mid-Levels District, where high-end residential areas are concentrated, is said to be famous for being the longest "this" in the world.
Changmin marvels at the changing scene as people gather at 10 a.m., calling it "mysterious," and piques his curiosity as to what he saw.
Changmin also discovers eco-friendly building materials that are common throughout the city of Hong Kong.
The building materials, which come in a variety of shapes and sizes, are said to reflect the characteristics of Hong Kong's climate. Their curiosity was piqued, and they shouted, "Professor!"
I search for architect Professor Yoo Hyun Jun with great interest, and become fascinated by the unique features of Hong Kong that I hadn't noticed before.
After enjoying the view of the skyscrapers, the pair travel to the West Kowloon Peninsula across the water and come face to face with new architecture that is completely different from that on Hong Kong Island.
They will be amazed at the secrets of this architecture, which has repurposed obstacles into a distinctive exhibition space. Hong Suk Chun and Changmin's Hong Kong Architecture Study Abroad will be broadcast in Korea on Tuesday, the 26th at 9 pm.
You can see it in the exhibition "Architecture with a Reason - A Traveler in Space" that will be sent to you.
