At this event, JUNHO talked about his childhood, saying, "As you said earlier, that romance and
"It was a time filled with warmth," he said. "I was young at the time and couldn't fully experience the social atmosphere, but my parents both worked and focused on economic activities."
He continued, "My father was away on business trips and did a lot of different things. In that situation, he managed to give his children warmth, love, and the strength to become one with the people of our country."
"I tried my best to show the children that the future is bright, even though I didn't have much time," he said.
"If you look at the facts then and now, it was a really desperate time. And recently, a lot has happened, including COVID-19.
I think we will all have to face at least one obstacle at a time, and the strength to overcome those moments comes from coming together as one, and I think I felt that strength when I watched my parents at a young age."
Meanwhile, "Taepoong Trading Company" is set in 1997 at the IMF. The story follows the lone struggle of Kang Taepoong (JUNHO), a rookie trading company employee who becomes the president of a trading company with no employees, money, or anything to sell.
The TV series, which depicts the story of growth through fighting, will begin airing in Korea on the 11th at 9:10 PM.
