Korea has unveiled five covers for its 2025 Hanbok Special Edition issue with Park Bo-Gum.
This photoshoot, which was part of the "Hanbok Wave" project that began in 2020, is the first for a male artist to feature in the photoshoot, following actress Kim TaeRi last year.
Actor Park Bo-Gum was selected as the representative of the "Hanbok Wave." The "Hanbok Wave" project is being promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft and Design Foundation.
Hanbok companies with potential and technical capabilities will come together with Korean culture and artists to create hanbok products that can be introduced to the global market, creating new value for the Korean Wave.
In this photoshoot, Park BoGum wore 4 hanbok brands: "Tadadah Hanbok," "Mulut," "One Origin," and "Hanbok Moon."
He transformed into an elegant zombie wearing a feathered hat, while also exuding a brave aura with his gradient hanbok and sword.
In another photoshoot, she is wearing a robe over knitwear, and her intense gaze exudes a sexy charm that catches the eye.
Park Bo-Gum said, "The designers' work, which shows traditional hanbok in a new light and incorporates the beauty of Korea, is wonderful and worthy of respect.
"I thought a lot about how to best utilize the lines and beauty of the hanbok," she said, revealing her thoughts on the shoot.
