NCT's Jungwoo successfully completes musical concert ”This is PESTE”...expanding his horizons as an artist

Jungwoo of the group NCT has successfully completed the musical concert "This is PESTE," further expanding his horizons as an artist.
The musical concert "This is PESTE" in which Jungwoo appeared was held at Yonsei University in Seoul from October 31st to November 2nd.
Held for three days in the main auditorium, this concert version of the musical "PESTE" is a reinterpretation of Albert Camus' novel "The Plague" with Seo Taiji's music.
In particular, Jung Woo plays the role of Doctor Liu, a man synonymous with kindness and sincerity, who saves the city of Oran, which has fallen into chaos due to an epidemic.
The inner thoughts of the characters who stand up for their cause with unwavering conviction and a sense of justice are vividly expressed through not only their outstanding singing ability, but also their subtly changing gazes and gestures, as well as the narration that connects the flow of the play.
The film also features songs such as "T'IK T'AK'" which depicts the terror of an attack, and "I" which is a warning to the world.

"To You" conveys feelings for a loved one through her voice and lyrical sensibility, while "Sad Pain" and "COMA" unleash emotions of sadness and chaos with subdued vocals, and "Sad Pain" and "COMA" are songs filled with hope and a desire for peace.
From "TAKE FIVE" to "LIVE WIRE," he perfectly conveyed a variety of emotions with his genre-defying skills, naturally drawing the audience into the story.
Jungwoo said, "It was a great honor and a meaningful experience to be able to sing the music of Seo Taiji, a senior singer I respect. I was very nervous at first, but I was able to sing the music because I had prepared so hard for so long.
Like Woo, I was determined to do my best in the role I was given. Thanks to the audience who cheered me on until the very end, I was able to finish the stage safely and continue to grow.
"This was an opportunity for me to achieve this. I will continue to respond with even greater development. I am always truly grateful," he said.
Meanwhile, Jungwoo will be performing at the Ticket Link Live Arena (formerly known as Handball) at Seoul Olympic Park on November 28th.
An Exclusive Fan Meeting "Golden Sugar Time" will be held at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Stadium in Tokyo at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
