Kim Woo Seok performed the role of "Ke" in the play at the first performance held at Bukchon Chanwoo Theater on the 13th.
He played the role of "Bin Jung" and drew the audience into his heart with his delicate emotional expression. "Romance is a Mirage" is a story about the love and human relationships of young people set in a guesthouse called "Romance" on Jeju Island.
This is a warm-hearted original human comedy. This work is a joint project by current and former students of the Department of Media and Acting at Kwonkuk University.
The show will run from January 12th to 16th at Kitamura Chanwoo Theater, with the main performance continuing at Blind Art Hall from November 18th to 24th.
Kim Woo Seok will be back on stage on the 15th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, and 24th.
After his first stage performance, Kim Woo Seok said, "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my professors and seniors who warmly supported my first acting challenge, and to all the fans who came to see the performance.
"It was a great honor to be able to stand on stage with such wonderful professors and seniors. I was taking on a new challenge as an actor, and I was still lacking in many areas, but everyone was so kind and helpful and encouraging.
"Thanks to everyone who came all the way here even though it was a weekday, I was able to learn and grow a lot during the training period," he continued.
"Meeting all the fans in person was a great encouragement to me. Thanks to everyone's support, we were able to successfully complete our first performance," he said, expressing his gratitude.
Kim Woo Seok was a member of the group "FANTASY", which was formed through the MBC audition program "Boys' Fantasy".
BOYS" and then enrolled in the Department of Media and Acting at Konkuk University to study acting in earnest.
Through this work, he took his first step as an actor and showed new possibilities.
