SEHUN is the last “EXO” member to enlist… Alternate military service begins today (21st)

SEHUN, 29, a member of the Korean boy group EXO, will be the last member of the group to serve in the military.

　According to SEHUN and SM Entertainment, SEHUN will start his alternative service today (21st).

　On the 13th of this month, SEHUN announced through the fan community "Weverse," "I have something to say to you all. I'm sorry to inform EXO-L (fans) too late," he said.

　He continued, "Lately I have been spending time alone, looking at myself and thinking deeply. I am going to leave without being able to greet you in person. I hope you can understand my going without being able to greet you in person. I am truly grateful to all of you who care about me."

　SM Entertainment also stated, "We respect your wish to enter the hospital quietly, so we will not disclose the specific place and time of your visit."

　With this, SEHUN will be the last of 'EXO' to carry out his national defense duties. Prior to him, SUHO, BAEK HYUN, CHANYEOL, CHEN, and D.O. completed their military service obligations, starting with XIUMIN, who enlisted in May 2019.

　KAI enlisted in May and is currently serving as a substitute as a social service member. At the time, all the members of EXO were preparing to make a comeback, but KAI's sudden enlistment left a gap in the group's schedule. The day when they will return home after completing their military service in good health is the focus of much interest.
