This strike is different in nature from the usual strikes carried out by the labor union to which they belong. There are currently 140 neighborhood bus transportation companies in Seoul.

According to the ordinance, transportation costs must be determined in the new year, but as of May, no decision has been reached. The union has set this year's financial support standard at 10,000 yen for the reasons of safe operation and maintaining vehicle dispatch intervals.
