Honduran diplomat gets drunk and assaults man on train - South Korea

It was later revealed that a Honduran diplomat stationed in South Korea is under police investigation for allegedly committing lewd acts and assaulting a passenger on a Busan urban railroad train while drunk.
On the 13th, the Haeundae Police Station in Busan announced that they were investigating a Honduran diplomat, A, on suspicion of indecent assault and assault.
Suspect A is accused of making physical contact with a male passenger, Mr. B, on board a Busan Urban Subway Line 2 at around 6:30 a.m. on the 19th of last month, and then engaging in a fight and assaulting him.
At the time, suspect A was said to have been extremely drunk. Police reportedly confirmed the scene of suspect A's crime through CCTV footage from inside the car.
Suspect A, who works at the Honduran Embassy in Seoul, was reportedly visiting Busan on a business trip.
Police have sent a letter to the Honduran Embassy in South Korea asking whether immunity from prosecution has been exercised, but have yet to receive a reply.
