Song Ye-ji expressed her expectations for her comeback film, "It Can't Be Helped." On the 21st, Song Ye-ji said, "I'm looking forward to 'It Can't Be Helped.' Director Park Chan-wook is great, and Lee Byung-hun is great.
He praised director Park Chan-wook and actor Lee Byung-hun, who he worked with, saying, "They're both great." The photos released show them on set.
This is Song Ye-jin's first comeback film since her marriage and childbirth, and also her first film with director Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung Hun.
The film has been attracting attention since the news of its production broke, as it is a collaboration between the two. Director Park Chan-wook's new film "Hangin' Out" is about Man-soo (Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who leads a fulfilling life.
The story depicts the struggle of a young man (played by a young man) to find a new job after he is suddenly fired, in order to protect his wife and two children, and to protect the house he built with so much effort.
The drama is based on the novel "The Axe," which has been a hit for many years. In the drama, Lee Byung Hun plays Man Soo, who is fired from the paper company where he worked for 25 years and struggles to find a new job, while Son Ye Ji In plays the role of a woman who is suddenly taken by her husband.
After filming wrapped, Lee Byung Hun said, "I had a lot of fun exchanging ideas with the director, just like we've been friends for years.
There were a lot of conversations. I think the new ideas we came up with through these conversations will make the film even richer. Whatever the work, I want to see the finished version as soon as possible, but I've never had such high expectations for a work like this one.
I'm so excited that I can't believe it," said Song Ye-jin, who added, "I don't know how time has passed so quickly. I participated in this project as a fan of director Park Chan-wook and senior Lee Byung-hun.
"As I watched the process, I thought many times that a truly wonderful piece was going to be born. I can't wait to show it to the audience."
"It Can't Be Helped" is scheduled to be released in Korea in September.
