「SHINHWA」キム・ドンワン、バラエティー番組引退宣言か
I wish they'd just leave me alone... Kim Dong Wan of ”SHINHWA” announces retirement from variety shows?
Kim Dong Wan of the South Korean group SHINHWA has announced his intention to turn down an offer to appear on a variety show.
Recently, Kim Dong Wan posted on his SNS, "I've already received offers to appear on variety shows.
"I'd be happy if it wasn't there," he continued, "I don't have the confidence to make people laugh, and I really don't want to talk about it to the public. Talking about the past only leaves scars on myself."
Kim Dong Wan also said, "Can't I just live quietly pretending to be happy and successful? I just want to be left alone," and "I've been telling you my schedule about three times.
If you do, please be aware of it and stop. Of course, it must have been something you were told to do from above," he added.
When the comments flooded in asking, "What is your role?", Kim Dong Wan quickly replied, "For me, it's stage, TV series, home shopping, and the results are based on how much effort you put in!"
He expressed his dissatisfaction with the comment, "I hope that the people who are waiting will have the opportunity to participate," saying, "So why are they ignoring the people who are waiting and only inviting the elderly who are easy to handle?"
Along with criticism of the provocative editing of variety shows, there were also responses that sympathized with Kim Dong-wan's words, who said, "From now on, I want depression, poverty, loss, and pornography.
It seems like it's because of the situation," he added. The last variety show Kim Dong Wan appeared on was MBC's "Radio Star," which aired last month.
He has been drawing attention by revealing the pressure he feels about appearing on variety shows and showing a strong rejection of the offer.
