Global girl group KATSEYE has added a music video with over 100 million views to YouTube.
On the 3rd, HYBE and Geffen Records announced that KATSEYE's second mini album, "BEAUTIFUL
The music video for "Gnarly," a track recorded by CHAOS, surpassed 100 million views on YouTube at around 7 a.m. on the same day. This marks the second music video by KATSEYE to surpass 100 million views.
It took about nine months for the music video for "Touch," one of the double title tracks from KATSEYE's debut mini-album "SIS," to reach 100 million views.
The "Gnarly" music video was released as a digital single preview on April 30th ahead of the album's release, and has since surpassed 100 million views in just five months, demonstrating their growing popularity.
"Gnarly" is a song based on the hyper pop genre, incorporating elements of dance and punk. Producers Pink Slip and Tim
Global hitmakers such as Randlph, Bang Si Hyuk ("hitman" bang), and Slow Rabbit join forces to create a bold and fresh sound.
The music video for this song was praised for its experimental and psychedelic production, and was loved for the dynamic performance and facial expressions of the members.

KATSYE, who debuted in June last year through the "Academy," has quickly become known as the "next generation pop artist."
The total number of Spotify plays for the five songs on their second mini-album, "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," including "Gnarly," recently surpassed 700 million.
As of September, their monthly Spotify listeners also exceeded 32 million, ranking first among all girl groups during the same period.
Building on this popularity, "KATSEYE" has also achieved remarkable success on the main charts of the US Billboard.
"Gabriela," which is a hit along with "narly," also reached 45th place on the Billboard Hot 100 (as of September 27th), breaking her own record high, and her mini-album "BEAUTIFUL"
"Chaos" reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 (as of July 12th). Riding on this momentum, KATSUEYE will embark on their first exclusive North American tour, which will take place in 13 cities starting in November.
Tickets for this tour have already sold out. The band will perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April next year, which is considered a dream stage.
They will be performing at the Tokyo Music and Arts Festival.
