Singer Baek Ji Yeong revealed the reason behind her departure from the KBS2 variety show "Men Who Do Housework." On this day, Baek Ji Yeong responded to a question, "Is 'Men Who Do Housework' going to end?"
When asked, he said, "I was the only one to step down," and added, "It was once a week, every Thursday, but it was hard to complete it."
She continued, "I'm also on an overseas tour. It's been just under two years, but I've been asked to fill in as an MC three times.
I had a performance in the same year, so I asked if it would be possible to change the recording date, but it was physically impossible due to personnel adjustment issues." She said, "The 'Men Who Do Housework' team had no idea that I was going to perform.
"I didn't want to cause any trouble. I'm very sad, but I've decided to step down. I cried a lot during the last record," she confessed. Her husband, actor Jung Suk Won, asked, "How many times did you cry this week?"
When asked, Baek Ji Yeong replied, "I wanted to end the show on a high note. One day, I'll be able to sit next to Park So Jin as a guest. I'll remain a part of the 'Men Who Do Housework' family forever."
With Baek Ji Yeong leaving the show, Lee Yo Won joined as the new MC.
