JIN's encore tour comes to a finale... with a teaser for the film adaptation

The brief rain could not dampen JIN's passion. His fervour and that of ARMY (the fan name for BTS) lit up the autumn night sky with a giant moon.

BTS member JIN held the finale of his fan concert tour, which began in June, at Incheon Munhak Stadium's main stadium in Incheon from 31st October to 1st November, titled "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE". JIN performed 18 songs over approximately 150 minutes, accompanied by a full live band, reaffirming his presence as a solo artist.

On the same day, JIN made a surprise entrance not from the stage, but directly from the stadium track. He passionately performed the title track ‘Running Wild’ and ‘I'll Be There’ from his solo album ‘Happy’ while running a lap around the track. This opening sequence, conceived by JIN himself, symbolised the tour's name, ‘Run Jin’. It conveyed the message of ‘running close to the audience’ while simultaneously completing the journey of returning to Korea after finishing the world tour. JIN expressed his aspirations “I prepared the encore concert with the mindset of creating a grand finale. I will cross the finish line in Incheon together with all ARMY. I hope you will run with me until the very end."

True to an encore fan concert, new stages were added. JIN performed ‘The Truth Untold (Feat. Steve Aoki)’ while playing the piano and unveiled his first solo track in about eight years, ‘Awake’, drawing a passionate response from fans. This song hadn't been performed since the 2017 BTS world tour, "2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY: EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR".

Throughout the performance, diverse segments were incorporated to further delight the audience. Continuous interaction with fans was fostered through the telepathy game "Communicate, ARMY’, where members matched words based on audience movements, and ‘Sing, ARMY’, where they guessed answers based on audience choruses.

The members' heartfelt support was the highlight of the show. On the first day, J-HOPE and JUNG KOOK appeared, joining JIN to complete an energetic rendition of ‘Super Tuna’. J-HOPE and JUNG KOOK stated, "We came to celebrate JIN's encore fan concert. We want to show you everything we can do to make it fun." On the second day, V took the stage. V's eyes reddened as he said, "I wanted to see this scene. Imagining the seven of us standing together suddenly overwhelmed me with emotion."

The trio passionately performed their respective solo tracks ‘Killin' It Girl (Solo Version)’ (J-HOPE), ‘Standing Next to You’ by (JUNG KOOK), and ‘Love Me Again’ (V). On the second day, JIMIN, who had unexpectedly appeared during the opening, joined them, and together they performed a BTS medley spanning ‘IDOL’, ‘So What’, and ‘My Universe’ over both days.

Regarding this, JIN shared his thoughts: "While preparing for this concert, we synchronised with the members for the first time in a while, and we united very naturally. We want to visit you all as a group, showing even more wonderful sides of ourselves from now on." He continued, conveying his heartfelt feelings "The voices of ARMY completed this concert. Until the very end, I will only believe in you all. Seeing ARMY, I will give my absolute best singing until the very end."
