Actress Lee Si Young has given birth to her second daughter. On the 5th, Lee Si Young wrote on her Instagram, "I think of this as a gift from God to my mother, and I hope to live a strong and happy life with Jung Yoon for the rest of my life.
I will live my life never forgetting my gratitude," she wrote, along with a photo of herself holding her second child.
Previously, Lee Si Young revealed that she was pregnant after her divorce.
As they prepared the test tubes during their married life, and the fertilized embryos neared the end of their frozen storage period, they decided to implant them rather than discard them.
She said, "Although the other party disagreed, I intend to bear the full weight of the decision I made."
When asked why she made this choice, she said, "The only thing that has allowed me to endure in this difficult marriage is the fact that I have a lot of things packed into my heart.
"I have an angelic child who gives me happiness, hope, and inspiration," she said. "Right now, I am filled with gratitude for the new life that came to me, and I am spending a more peaceful and happy time than ever before."
"I will be humble and grateful for any criticism or advice you may give me. I still have a lot to learn, but I would like to thank you for coming to me again.
"I will live my life with sincerity from now on, with a deep sense of responsibility, so that at least one of my children will have everything they need," she said, revealing her feelings.
Lee Si Young and her ex-husband had their first child in 2018, and then stored their sperm and eggs.
As the five-year storage period approached, she decided to transfer the embryos instead of discarding them, and she became pregnant. Lee Si Young, 43, made the decision this year not to give up on her final chance to have a second child.
Lee Si Young married a restaurant entrepreneur who is nine years older than her on September 30, 2017, but divorced earlier this year.
