The first teaser video depicting Seo Ji-woo's (Won Ji An) "tumultuous first love" has been released. The video shows Lee Kyung-do and Seo Ji-woo playing in the grass on a spring day when cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
The film begins with Kyung-do, a 20-year-old teenager, lying down and looking up at the sky. We see Kyung-do's reaction to Seo Ji-woo's explosive remark, "Shall we sleep together?", which is a heartwarming scene.
In the next scene, Seo Ji-woo, who has been drinking all night and is drunk, touches Kyung-do as if he were a dog and boldly talks to him even though he ignores her.
Her actions shake his heart, and it is impressive to see Kyung-do confused by every word she says, but ultimately following her.
As time passed, the two reunited and the same uncontrollable feelings as back then began to flow again.
When Kyung-do laments, "Why can't he just live a quiet life?", Seo Ji-woo provokes him by saying, "You should write the article about my divorce," leaving him confused.
Even so, Kyung-do is on Seo Ji-woo's side, defending her by saying, "She's actually a kind person," even when her senior at the club, Cha Woo-sik (Kang Ki Dong), tells her to stop.
Attention is focused on how the complicated relationship between the two, who cannot be separated even when they are apart, will change in the future. In this way, "Waiting for Kyung-do" is a story about how even after many years, they remain the same.
