”Taepung Trading Company” Lee Junho (2PM) & Kim Minha, this time it's a safe national project... Will it be a breakthrough?
※This contains plot summaries and spoilers.

Lee Junho (2PM) and Kim Minha now dive into a national project.

In tvN's "Typhoon Family", Kang Taepung (Lee Junho) and Oh Mi-son (Kim Minha) remain undeterred in their challenges even amidst the economic chill of the IMF crisis. Through relentless crises, the pair have steered Taepung Trading to survival. They averted bankruptcy by returning imported Italian fabrics, secured their first overseas deal exporting Shoopac safety boots, and rescued Ko Majin (Lee Chang-hoon) during the customs clearance of reinforced helmets – becoming true comrades-in-arms.

Of course, the path was far from smooth. Even after securing permission to return the fabrics, President Pyo Sang-son's (Kim Sang-ho) obstruction meant only a portion could be processed. Safety boots were exported by pioneering a route via distant-water fishing vessels, while the helmet shipment was reduced to just 140 units due to a bribery scandal, narrowly averting disaster. Though not a complete triumph, their heart-pounding survival story—forging paths through adversity and growing with each setback—made viewers root for them relentlessly.

Now, Typhoon Trading 2.0 embarks on a new challenge. This project, trustworthy even by its name, is a government-led venture. It's a "completely safe national project" with no loading issues and no risk of betrayal. That's why Taepung, in the released preview, declares with burning determination, "We absolutely have to get in on this." Viewers' expectations are soaring for the outcome of this ambitious challenge by the "crisis-breaking duo" who have always forged a path through adversity.

Anticipation also swells for the roles of not just Taepung and Mi-son, but the reunited staff of Typhoon Trading. Ma-jin becomes the team's pillar with his seasoned sales acumen and concise, spot-on advice. Meanwhile, Bae Seong-joon (Lee Sang-jin), who had been stopping by the office for PC communications while preparing for his customs broker exam, finds himself plunging back into Typhoon Trading's work before he knows it. Their efforts to chart the course for Typhoon Trading 2.0 in their own ways evoke hopes for another "trading company solidarity" amidst the turmoil of the IMF economic crisis.

Meanwhile, Cha Seong-taek (Kim Jae-hwa), whose connection to Pyo Bak-ho—who was searching for the promissory note in the episode 10 ending—has been revealed, keeps a close watch on Typhoon Trading, creating an uneasy tension. As attention focuses on what variables her next move might introduce, another tension mounts on Pyo Sang-son's side. Pyo Hyun-joon (Mu Jin-seong), who previously caused damage to the company during the Shu Park incident and was harshly reprimanded by his father Pyo Bak-ho with the words, "Can you catch Kang Taepung? You're not in the same league as that man," seems to be burning with a distorted competitive spirit towards Taepung, as if to avenge that humiliation.

In the released stills, the tense standoff scene where Taepung and Pyo Hyun-joon face each other directly hints at Pyo Sang-son's entry into the national project, heralding the prelude to another fiery confrontation.

Regarding this, the production team stated, "The passionate challenge continues for Taepung and Mi-son, two trading company executives who refuse to give up even amidst the IMF economic crisis. Will the state project Taepung declared 'completely safe' become the new breakthrough for Typhoon Trading 2.0? Please look forward to this episode, which promises to be even more exciting."

Meanwhile, episode 11 of ‘Typhoon Family’ airs in South Korea today (15th), Saturday at 9:10 PM on tvN.
