DONG WOO will release his second mini album "AWAKE" on various music sites at 6 PM on the 18th.
"AWAKE" is DONG WOO's first release in 6 years and 8 months since his first mini-album "BYE," which he released in 2019 before enlisting in the military.
This solo album contains new music from DONG WOO that will awaken and stir emotions that have become dull in the midst of a repetitive daily routine.
DONG WOO, who has been overwhelming, shows a new side of himself as a vocalist in "AWAKE." The title track "SWAY (Zzz)" is a song that conveys the trembling of emotions that rings like an alarm and the unstoppable bond between the two people.
The song depicts the process of searching for true feelings amidst the endless negotiations. The repeated beat of the alarm sounds delicately expresses the emotions of the moment when longing and a sense of stability exist within the keyword "love."
