Ko Chang-seok makes special appearance in ”The Story of Manager Kim”... playing brother with Ryu Seung-ryong

Actor Ko Chang-seok will make a special appearance in JTBC's weekend drama 'The Story of Kim, the Department Head Who Commutes to a Large Corporation from His Home in Seoul'.

Ko Chang-seok will appear in episode 10 of the drama on the 23rd, portraying the role of Kim Chan-soo.

The drama depicts the story of a middle-aged man who loses everything he once valued in an instant, and after a long journey, discovers not just his role as a department head at a large corporation, but his true self.

In the drama, Ko Chang-seok plays Kim Chan-soo, the older brother of the protagonist Kim Na-ksoo (played by Ryu Seung-ryong). As the eldest son who excelled academically from childhood, Chan-soo bore the full weight of his parents' expectations and was a source of inferiority for the younger Na-ksoo. Ko Chang-seok is set to delicately portray the various charms of Chan-soo, who leads a turbulent life.

Ko Chang-seok, who debuted in the 2001 film 'Early Summer, Superman', has showcased his acting skills in numerous works including the film 'Gone with the Wind!?', and ‘Secret Mission"’, as well as in dramas such as ‘The Good Doctor’ and ‘Kill Me, Heal Me’. Furthermore, he has been active on stage in plays such as ‘Woyzeck’ and ‘Human Comedy’, and musicals including ‘The Man Who Walks Through Walls’ and ‘Kinky Boots’, continuing his journey as a versatile entertainer.
