SEVENTEEN's Jun selected as youth ambassador for China's Hainan Island International Film Festival
Jun of the boy group SEVENTEEN has been selected as the new face to promote China's Hainan International Film Festival.
On the 26th, according to HYBE Music Group's label Pledis Entertainment, Jun
was appointed as the Youth Ambassador for the 7th Hainan International Film Festival. As a young and promising figure in the Chinese film industry, he aims to act as a bridge between the audience and the film industry.
The Hainan International Film Festival is a large-scale event that brings together people involved in the film industry from all over the world. It will be held in Sanya, Gaonan Province, China from the 3rd to the 9th of next month. This year, 4,600 people from 119 countries and regions will be attending.
Jun's work attracted attention early on, with the above works being exhibited. In August, he appeared in the film "Shadow's Edge," which premiered in major cities around the world starting with China, starring Jackie Chan and Leon Kar.
He worked well with Fei and others. With this work, he was invited to the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival and the 30th Busan International Film Festival, showing his presence as a popular actor.
The Chinese historical drama TV series "Yungui Happy Affairs" is also scheduled to be released on the Chinese OTT platform iQIYI in the future.
