Mun Kayoung plays Koo Kyo Hwan's first love and former girlfriend in the movie ”If Only We”... A different melody from ”Love and Benefits”

Mun Kayoung will be making her first appearance in a melodrama film, "What if We Were Together." The film is about two deeply loved couples, Eun-ho and Jung-won, who meet by chance after 10 years and rediscover their memories.
It is a realistic and relatable love story that follows the footsteps of a man. In the drama, Mun Ka-young plays the role of Jung-won, the first love and former lover of Eun-oh (Koo Kyo Hwan). Jung-won is a man who is in a difficult situation.
Even in her new life as a university student, Mun Kayoung is a student who never gives up on her dreams and moves forward one step at a time. In particular, Mun Kayoung is a student of computer engineering, and her friendship with Eunho naturally develops into a romantic relationship.
She perfectly portrayed the character's transformation from a romantic relationship to a mature career woman after a breakup. Mun Ka-young said she tried hard to show a different acting style from the TV series "Love and Profit."
She said, "I approached the college student Jung-won as a more innocent and honest person who expresses his feelings. In the second half of the film, I wanted to portray the emotions he feels when he faces real-life problems and his feelings with Eun-ho.
"I focused on the emotional connection," he said. "What If" will be released in Korea on December 31st.
