The two, who came to Japan for the event, appeared on stage. The Korean TV series "Tomorrow Will Be a True Love Story" is a pure love story about a fateful reunion with a first love. It will be available on Prime from Sunday, December 7th.
The event started with a surprise performance, as the two appeared from a door at the back of the audience and walked right past the crowd. The fans were thrilled by their unexpected appearance.
Park Seo Jun arrived on stage to loud cheers and applause and said, "Good evening. I think this is the first time we've met at a theater. I look forward to working with you."
Next, Won Ji An said, "Nice to meet you," in Japanese, and smiled, "I'm Won Ji An, who played the role of Seo Ji Woo in 'Tomorrow Will Be Different.' It's nice to meet you."
From here, the talk session was led by the moderator. When asked what made him decide to appear in the film, Park Seo Jun said, "The story of this TV series was very interesting.
As you can see from the TV series, the story unfolds between the two characters at age 20, 28, and now.
I thought that was very appealing. The fact that I could play a character I had never played before was also what made me want to appear in the show."
Won Ji An said, "The first thing that motivated me to take part in this drama was the high expectations that I would be able to grow as an actor. The drama depicts a relationship over a long period of time in a very detailed way.
It's a work of art, and I think I'll be able to grow as a person by working with such a great director and seniors."
Suzy is asked about the challenges of playing the role of a journalist and what scenes she would like viewers to see.
Park Seo Jun said, "Rather than being a challenge, it was a work that required me to express emotions delicately. There are three different periods in the story, so I had to express the subtle changes that come with age,
I paid attention to the details while acting. I think that playing the role of a young man was a challenge for me, but I had a lot of fun working on it.
"I was satisfied after I got the role. Then, speaking of challenges, I remembered that playing a 20-year-old at my age was a challenge," she said with a smile.
When asked about the character Seo Ji Woo and what she kept in mind while playing the role, Won Ji An said, "The character I played, Seo Ji Woo, was raised in a wealthy family and was not very good at anything.
He is a boy who has deep wounds that he cannot do anything about, but he is also a bit of an unpredictable boy who you never know what he might do. But he meets a man named Kyung-do and begins to grow.
The thing I was most conscious of while filming was that I had to depict three periods over a long span of time. There were changes in appearance, but more than anything, I had to face each of the changes in Kyung-do's character.
I thought it was important to grasp how things change over time, and what kind of growth Ji-woo experiences through Kyung-do."
When asked if she felt any chemistry during the script reading, Won Ji An said, "I felt it enough just from the reading. Including Kyung Do, the other actors
I read through the script with the seniors who would be playing the characters, and it was so much fun from that stage onwards, and I was looking forward to seeing how the filming would unfold on set.
Park Seo Jun then said, "I'm the type of person who gets quite nervous, but despite that, I feel like we're in perfect sync.
Also, because the casting was all decided before the reading, I was able to have some time to get to know the director over a few drinks, which made us feel like we were a team.
I think that the time we spent getting closer allowed the filming to go smoothly," he recalled.
When asked about what they learned from each other on set and memorable episodes, Park Seo Jun said, "Rather than learning,
I felt that we relied on each other while acting. In this genre, the male and female protagonists have to lead the story, so it would be lonely if I was alone, but I relied on Jiwoo and
I would like to talk about the episodes starting from EP1. There is a scene with cherry blossoms, but the director was greedy, so we had to shoot a scene with cherry blossoms falling down.
We used a fan that blew a strong breeze, but the sound of the fan made it difficult to hear the lines. So, it was a difficult environment, but when I checked EP1, it was really wonderful.
It was already finished, so the feelings of resentment I had at the time quickly disappeared." Won Ji An continued, "There was so much I learned that I don't know where to start.
I'm not a big fan of this, but I tend to get very nervous even at events like this, so I think I learned to rely on the staff, the director, and my seniors.
There was a time when it rained and filming was delayed, but this is something the director would be happy about, because we needed some paper roses as props.
I was constantly making them, and I became a master of making roses (laughs)." Wong said about an episode during filming with the incoherent members of the drama club.
JeeAn said, "There are so many funny stories, and whenever we all get together, the atmosphere is always lively. Even after we both filmed some very emotional scenes, it's always fun when we all get together."
It creates a great atmosphere. The seniors are actually very interesting, but the most memorable scene was the one we shot at the beach. We walked barefoot along the coast, and that scene is the one I remember the most.
It's still there. It was shot really beautifully, so I hope everyone will look forward to it." Park Seo Jun continued, "The sea scene left a strong impression on me too. I'll be doing a drama later."
If you watch the movie, you'll understand that there are scenes where everyone goes into the sea and walks barefoot, but the path is paved with so many stones that it hurts the soles of your feet, so
At the end of the day, we were laughing as we walked along the path, but the soles of our feet were so painful that we were all wondering, "When is this going to end?" So, when you watch it, I hope you'll remember those behind-the-scenes stories.
When asked what he was looking forward to about his visit to Japan, Park Seo Jun said, "It depends on the purpose, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone by myself."
When I travel, I come with the excitement of enjoying the trip, but when there is a special event like today, I get excited and relaxed knowing that I will be able to meet so many fans.
I was really looking forward to it. Also, today there are people here who are not related to us, but are watching our TV series for the first time, so I'm very nervous, and I hope that everyone will like it.
When asked where she would like to go in Japan, Won Ji An smiled and said, "There are many, but when I come to Japan, I would like to go to Osaka."
On this day, Park Seo Jun received a video comment from Sung Si Kyung, who sang the insert song "Anytime Anyhow" for the TV series, and said, "I'm so happy that you sent me this message.
I didn't expect to be able to see you, so it was a real surprise. I actually met you a few days ago, but I'm happy to see you on screen today, and I felt I had to go and express my gratitude.
I think the TV series was completed well thanks to Sung Si Kyung hyung." Won Ji An said, "I'm really grateful. Thank you very much."
I laughed. In addition, another surprise video was the insert song of the TV series "Cafe Latte (English
A message from Rira Ikuta, who sang "Version" has also arrived.
Seojun said, "When I first heard that I would be participating in the OST, I was very surprised. He is an artist I like, so I was very happy to be able to work on a project like this together.
It was a strange feeling, and I felt grateful. I was really interested in the song, and when I listened to it, I found that the TV Series contains a variety of emotions, but it was especially bright and light.
I'm very grateful because it was a song that brought out the best in me. I hope to meet you someday." Won Ji An said, "I've always participated in the OSTs of my favorite anime.
I've known him for a long time as a singer, so when I heard that he would be participating in the OST for "Tomorrow Will Be True," it felt really strange and I was really looking forward to it.
Thank you for your kind words and messages. The song is lively and cute, so I'm really curious to see how it will turn out in the TV series.
"Won Ji An concluded with a message to the fans, saying, "Thank you for coming here today with so much excitement. We will also have fun and work hard.
It's a film that I filmed while laughing and crying. I think it will be released in the winter, so please be patient and enjoy it. I hope you will watch the TV series in a relaxed state."
Park Seo Jun said, "Today was also a first-time experience for me. It was my first time at a Japanese theater, and it felt fresh. I usually watch Japanese productions, but this time,
I feel a strange feeling that I can bring a Korean work to Japan and introduce it to you. This is a work that I tackled with deep love. I also feel that the actors and production team poured their love into this work.
It's a work, so I hope you'll have a wonderful time watching the TV series. Thank you for coming today."
After the photo session, Park Seo Jun and Won Ji An shouted "Tomorrow!", to which the audience responded with "Surely
" and in response to that voice, the "Sakura Special Attack" was launched from the stage towards the audience. The performance concluded with a performance that instantly transported the audience into the world of the TV series, and the venue was filled with smiles and a warm atmosphere.
It was.
