● Recently, due to COVID-19, the regulation for taking the last vacation before the discharge from the military service was changed allowing the soldiers to be discharged at home during the vacation without returning to the unit with the average of one month pre-discharge vacation.

Lance corporal Choi Min-ho, who is performing his duties as a member of the Rapid Task Force in the 1st Division of the Marine Corps.



If it was on schedule, he will have finishes his military obligations at home on November 15 after the last vacation on October 27, but he decided to participate in the national defense training and gave his successors the training and personal military tactics he had experienced and learned. In order to share his military know-how, he decided to give up the 20-day pre-discharge vacation and will be discharged at his unit.



Choi was active as a celebrity before joining the military, and joined the Marine Corps at a relatively older age in April last year, but of course he actively participated in each training and operation, as well as leading a model military life.
