This charity performance of "Waiting for Godot" is being carried out in accordance with the wishes of actors Shin Gu and Park Geun-hyun, with all proceeds from the performance ticket being donated to the "Theatre Tomorrow Fund" which supports young theater artists.
Minho was inspired by this and participated in GV by donating his talents, helping to share in the warmth of the cause. In particular, he worked on a comedy play that paid homage to "Waiting for Godot."
Minho, who made his acting debut in the role of Bal in "Waiting for Godot," said that this time around the play was even more special. "I saw this production twice last year, and recently
"I went to the rehearsal room and watched the teachers rehearsing up close. The more I watched, the more I felt like I was immersed in the work and the more I thought about the meaning of Godot," he said, showing his affection for the work.
Minho also listened carefully to what the cast members had to say along with actors Shin Gu, Park Geun-hyun, and director Oh Kyung-taek during the GV, and conducted the show in a relaxed yet earnest manner.
Minho recently played the role of Tae-seop, a scientist who is obsessed with rocket development, in the drama "Rendezvous," and was praised for his experimental direction and interesting works.
He has been well-received for naturally portraying the dynamic emotional lines of characters in his stories, and as he showed a new side of himself as a host in this GV, expectations are high for what kind of work and appearance he will appear in next.
