Starting from the 17th of this month, areas within 30 meters of nursery schools, kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools in South Korea will be designated as "smoking zones," and anyone who smokes in these areas will be fined 100,000 won (approximately 10,832 yen).
