Woman in her 30s dies after being stabbed by her boyfriend on the street in China's Shandong province - Chinese report

A woman in her 30s was stabbed to death by her boyfriend on a street in Zibo, Shandong Province, China. According to an announcement from the city police, around 6pm (local time) on the 11th, a man was found on the street.
A report came in that a woman had been stabbed with a knife. Police officers responded to the scene and arrested the suspect, Liu (34). As a result of the investigation, it was discovered that Liu had been dating Chen due to romantic entanglements.
It was learned that he got into a fight with a certain Mr. Chen (34) and stabbed Mr. Chen in the neck former with the knife he was carrying. Mr. Chen was taken to a hospital and received treatment, but was confirmed dead.
Police currently have a certain Liu in criminal custody and are conducting a detailed investigation into the motive and background of the crime.
