According to fire authorities, a fire of unknown cause broke out on the 13th floor of a 15-story apartment building in Hakcham-dong, Pohang City, around 3:30 p.m. on the same day.
Fire authorities mobilized 16 vehicles and 48 personnel to extinguish the fire 51 minutes after it started.
The fire did not cause any loss of life, but two residents of the apartment building suffered smoke inhalation, and dozens of residents were forced to evacuate.
Fire officials are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
