A Japanese transport plane carrying 16 people, including Koreans and their families staying in Israel, arrives in Tokyo.
A Self-Defense Force transport plane carrying 46 people, including Koreans and Japanese who were staying in Israel, arrived in Tokyo on the 3rd. At around 6:45 p.m. on the same day, South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs flew a Self-Defense Forces transport plane to Israel.
It was announced that 16 Korean nationals and their families staying in Japan arrived at Haneda Airport. The embassy in Japan plans to provide necessary consular support, including immigration support for Koreans arriving at Haneda Airport.
A total of 46 people were on board the plane, including 16 Koreans and their families, 20 Japanese, four Vietnamese, one Taiwanese, and their five foreign family members.
The Japanese government transferred 16 South Koreans along with its own nationals to an Air Self-Defense Force KC767 aerial refueling/transport aircraft. There are now 420 Koreans living in Israel.
